In celebration of the 375th anniversary of the founding of the Sisters of St. Joseph, this video, Serving the dear neighbour since 1851, was created and produced by the Archives and Heritage Committee for the Federation of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Canada. It was first shown at the U.S. Federation’s 375th celebration event in Kansas City, Missouri, July 18-20, 2025.
Delving into the congregational archives, documents and images were selected to tell three Canadian stories that embody one of the anniversary themes of Ignite, Embrace, and Celebrate. The Toronto, Sault Ste. Marie, and In Canada Congregations (an amalgamation of Pembroke, Peterborough, London, and Hamilton) each contributed one story to this video.
