Theology on Tap East - Catholic or Protestant - Why Does it Matter?

Monday, May 10, 2021 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm
This event does not repeat

Come join us as we have Campus Minister Joseph Goodwin share his conversion story from Protestant to Catholic.

He will…
+ Clarify some of the differences between the Catholic Church and Protestant ecclesial communities, rather than just the surface-level apparent differences, to show how they actually do matter.
+ Share a couple of quick stories of accompanying other protestants into the Church, by way of illustration and inspiration
+ Lightly dust over a few of the biggest areas of disagreement, presenting them through the lens of his personal experience
+ Share practical pointers on how to invite our Protestant brothers and sisters to learn more about the faith.

Theology on Tap offers young adults, ages 19-39, the opportunity to gather for evenings of thought-provoking theological discussions and presentations in a comfortable relaxed setting.
Invite your friends. See you there!
